We'd rather a client ask us these questions than assume and be surprised later. Use this list with any supplier, not just us.
- What grade is this, exactly? Get 304, 316 etc. in writing, not just "good quality."
- What finish, and is a sample available? Descriptions like "shiny" mean different things to different people — ask to see it.
- What's the lead time, from order to delivery/install? Get a real estimate, not "soon."
- Is installation included, or material only? This changes the total cost and who's accountable if something doesn't fit.
- What happens if something doesn't match on-site? A fabricator-supplier should have a clear answer, not a shrug.
- Can I get a proper invoice with GST? Matters for your own paperwork, especially on contractor jobs.
- What's the maintenance expectation for this specific product? A good supplier tells you this unprompted.
