What a fabrication warranty typically covers
Workmanship issues — a weld that fails, a fitting that loosens under normal use, a finish defect that wasn't visible at handover — are the kinds of things a fabrication warranty reasonably covers, since these are genuinely our responsibility if they occur.
What it doesn't cover
Damage from misuse, impact damage, improper cleaning with harsh chemicals, or normal wear from environmental exposure over years aren't fabrication defects — see our maintenance guide for the owner's side of keeping steel in good condition, since maintenance neglect isn't something a warranty is meant to cover.
Why we don't publish a generic warranty number
Warranty terms genuinely depend on the specific project, grade, and application — a blanket "10 year warranty" claim without those specifics is more marketing than a real commitment. We'll discuss and document specific warranty terms as part of your quotation (see our quotation guide) rather than making a vague blanket promise.
What to ask before ordering
Ask specifically what's covered, for how long, and what voids it — get this in writing alongside your quotation, not as a verbal assurance.
