Two related but different products
Woven wire mesh is a flexible, textile-like screen material; laser-cut jali (see our dedicated guide) is a rigid patterned sheet panel. Both serve similar facade functions but with different visual character and installation methods.
What they do functionally
- Solar shading — reducing direct heat gain through glazed facades
- Privacy screening while maintaining airflow and some light
- Visual softening of large blank facade surfaces
Why stainless steel specifically
Unlike painted MS mesh, stainless steel mesh/jali holds its finish through years of weather exposure without repainting — important for facade elements that are expensive and disruptive to access for maintenance once installed.
Getting it made
We fabricate custom jali panels in-house; wire mesh sourcing is handled through our trading network. Share your facade dimensions and design intent for a quote.
